East London artist Reeguez has arrived with IncanDescent, a fiery 5-track EP that merges raw lyricism with the evolving sounds of UK Drill, Chill Drill, and UK Rap. Born of Ecuadorian heritage, Reeguez uses his debut to illuminate both personal struggle and cultural pride.
The title IncanDescent is a triple entendre — a nod to Reeguez’s emotional intensity, his ability to “light up a track,” and a reflection of his South American roots. This debut is more than an introduction — it’s a statement of identity, intention, and hunger.
1. Moises Caicedo
A high-energy opener named after the Ecuadorian footballer, this track sets the tone with aggressive delivery and vivid storytelling — a lyrical flex on ambition, discipline, and pride.
2. Grey Clouds
Stripped back and introspective, “Grey Clouds” reflects on a few heavy years of adversity. Despite its moody tone, the track stays grounded in hope — Reeguez remains standing, eyes forward.
3. Hazy
A chilling look into emotional fatigue. “Hazy” explores how unresolved trauma clouds present-day clarity — a hauntingly honest moment of vulnerability wrapped in hypnotic production.
4. Flavours
This smooth, melodic cut dives into temptation, lust, and modern love. Alicia Rose’s backing vocals add soulful contrast as Reeguez reflects on his desire to settle down, despite the distractions around him.
5. Red Flags (feat. Amiltino)
Closing the EP is a deep and honest dive into toxic love and cycles of dysfunction. Reeguez and Amiltino trade perspectives on heartbreak and emotional accountability.
