Saturday 2 May 2026 | 2pm–2am

London’s much-loved celebration of disco, soul and dance culture, Brixton Disco Festival returns on Saturday 2 May 2026 for its 8th annual edition, bringing a full day and night of music, live performance and cultural programming across multiple iconic venues in the heart of Brixton.

Running from 2pm–2am, the multi-venue festival - which continues to be completely independently funded and operated - once again unites world-class DJs, live acts, vocalists and collectives, that transforms Brixton into a vibrant network of dance floors, live rooms and community spaces.

Leading the 2026 programme is Chicago house and disco legend Derrick Carter, whose influence on global dance culture remains unmatched, alongside Balearic tastemaker and record collector Luke Una, known for his deep-dig selections and genre-spanning sets.

French groove specialist Young Pulse brings his signature blend of disco, funk and soulful house, while UK favourite Dave Lee JN continues his long-standing contribution to modern disco production. Festival favourite Norman Jay MBE returns with his trademark eclecticism, joined by internationally respected selectors Natasha Diggs and Melvo Baptiste, plus London-based house and disco champion Aroop Roy.

A major highlight for 2026 sees Mousse T. present his Revival House Project, featuring powerhouse vocalists Kathy Brown, Peyton, Imaani and Nambi delivering a celebration of house music’s vocal roots with live performance energy at its core.

Close Counters (Live) bringing their jazz-inflected electronic groove to Brixton, alongside soulful live performances from Marcia Carr. Across the day and night, dance floors will be powered by an expansive roster including Tommy Soul, Tonno Disko, Carly Foxx, The Disco Don (BLVD), Faro, Jade Edwards, LEV, Palma Music, Saint Lukez, Tayo & Frank Tope, Tigerbalm and Utopia Presents, reflecting the breadth of today’s underground disco and soul scenes.

Returning festival partners and stage hosts once again curate key spaces across the venues. Faith All Dayer lands with Dave Jarvis, Stuart Patterson and Terry Farley at the helm, continuing its legacy as one of London’s most respected disco institutions.

Deep Into Soul brings its signature uplifting energy courtesy of Neil Pierce and Sy Sez, while The Disco Express hosts Bustin’ Loose and guests for a high-tempo celebration of classic and contemporary disco. The Handson Family Stage also returns, platforming its community of selectors and special guests.

Beyond the dance floor, the festival deepens its cultural offering with a special screening at the Ritzy of “Rockers Don’t Stop: The Revival of Rockers Revenge”, followed by a Q&A with legendary producer Arthur Baker, offering rare insight into one of dance music’s most influential eras.
