Cologne-based producer DJ Densen strengthens his connection to Jamaica with the release of “Provider,” a soulful new collaboration featuring Dancehall recording artiste Jahmiel.
Recorded during Densen’s visit to Kingston in early 2025, the single represents a deliberate fusion of European production sensibilities and Jamaican storytelling. The collaboration came after years of mutual respect, with Jahmiel selecting the riddim from a curated collection of Densen’s instrument-driven compositions.
Released through a sub-label of the legendary Silly Walks Discotheque, “Provider” underscores the growing creative exchange between Germany and Jamaica, positioning DJ Densen as an increasingly active force within the island’s music landscape.
