Beat-Herder Festival 2026 Review

What an incredible event Beat-Herder Festival put on this year! After making it through the gates, pitching our tent, and getting ourselves settled, it was finally time to explore everything Beat-Herder 2026 had to offer.

Thursday 16th July

Walking through the festival is always an amazing experience. Everywhere you looked, people were dressed up in colourful outfits, costumes, and fancy dress, creating the unique atmosphere that Beat-Herder is famous for.

After checking out the line-up and deciding where to head first, we made our way to The Ring for none other than Ed Solo, who got the weekend started in style.

Next up was the legendary Roni Size, delivering exactly the kind of energy and quality you'd expect from one of drum & bass' true pioneers.

Backstage we bumped into Kaya Fyah, who was incredibly friendly and more than happy to stop for a few photos.

We then caught up with the Bristol crew, Born on Road, featuring Aries, Selecta J-Man and Kelvin373. We had a great chat with them and found every one of them to be genuine, humble and down-to-earth.

What a way to kick off Beat-Herder 2026!

Friday 17th July

Friday started with us discovering The Dub Tub, complete with bath seats dotted around the area, before wandering further and stumbling across a Morris Minor fitted with turntables and a mixer, pumping out jungle music while people danced around — and even on top of the cars — in the incredible Breakers Yard/Garage area. Moments like this perfectly capture the spirit of Beat-Herder.

From there it was over to the Dub Centre Plus for Bush Rocker Hi-Fi.

That led us into The Toil Trees, which looked absolutely stunning and sounded just as good, creating one of the festival's most atmospheric settings.

Making our way back to the Main Stage, we caught the legendary K-Klass, who many will also know from Centerforce Radio.

A walk through the festival's shopping strip led us to The BoomBox, where Kelvin373 and Selecta J-Man were tearing it up.

Next came another true legend of drum & bass — the founder of Formation Records, DJ SS — delivering another unforgettable set.

From there it was down to Stublefunk at The Factory to catch Noctem.

We couldn't resist heading back to the Breakers Garage for more of its unique atmosphere.

Then it was time for one of the biggest performances of the evening as Faithless took over the Main Stage.

On the walk back to The Ring, we even found ourselves passing through the famous Beat-Herder launderette installation, proving once again there's always something unexpected around every corner.

One of the standout performances of the entire weekend came from Harriet Jackson, whose set was easily one of the highlights of Beat-Herder 2026.

The night finished back at The Factory with Drumsound & Simon "Bassline" Smith, bringing another incredible day to a close.

Saturday 18th July

Saturday morning saw us back on our feet and heading over to catch Cam Cole. Earlier in the year we promoted one of his performances on TikTok, which went on to receive over 200,000 views, so it was great to finally see him perform at Beat-Herder.

From there we visited the Parish Church for one of Beat-Herder's famous church services, which was absolutely packed.

Then it was back over to The Factory for some jungle vibes courtesy of Mylania.

One of the biggest highlights of the entire weekend followed as Kings of the Rollers — Voltage, Serum and Bladerunner — absolutely destroyed the Main Stage alongside the incredible MC Inja. The crowd energy was unreal.

Later we checked back into Stublefunk at The Factory where DJ Fairbank was keeping the dancefloor moving.

We rounded off Saturday back at the Main Stage with Sigma, closing another unforgettable day of music.

After another amazing and action-packed day, it was finally back to the tent for some well-earned rest.

Sunday 19th July

Sunday began with us passing through The Fortress where Uncle Dugs was doing what he does best.

We then made our way to the Main Stage for the powerful sounds of Queen Omega.

Before heading home we returned to camp to start packing everything away, but there was still time for one final stop at the Main Stage to catch the legendary David Rodigan, providing the perfect ending to an unforgettable weekend.

Final Thoughts

No matter how much you plan, it's impossible to see absolutely everything at Beat-Herder Festival. With so many stages, hidden venues, secret areas and incredible artists performing across the weekend, you'll always discover something new while inevitably missing something else.

What we did experience, however, made every mile of the journey from London to the beautiful valley near Clitheroe worthwhile.
