Vumy wize, VMRs & NAYLA WIZE – Somebody New | Melodic Trap / R&B

Vumy wize, VMRs & NAYLA WIZE come together on “Somebody New,” an emotional blend of melodic trap and Pop-R&B centred around heartbreak, memories and the difficult process of letting go.

Built around atmospheric piano, deep 808s, crisp trap drums, layered vocal harmonies and a haunting synth melody, the track captures the feeling of watching someone you once loved move on while you're left with unanswered questions.

“Somebody New” balances vulnerable songwriting with a modern, bass-heavy production, creating a sound that feels both intimate and atmospheric.

At its heart, the track is about accepting that a relationship has changed and finding the strength to move forward — even when the memories haven't disappeared.
