Azizzi Romeo – Signs Of The Time | Roots Reggae / Dub

Azizzi Romeo steps into his own with Signs Of The Time, his debut full-length album, bringing together the rising Jamaican singer, the live musicianship of Guiding Star Orchestra and the production talents of CHLLNGR and Thomas Leholt.

Released October 2 via Recall Reality, the 11-track project is rooted in conscious roots reggae, with organic instrumentation and a deep, soulful sound. Prince Fatty handles the mixing, bringing his experience in reggae and dub to a record that connects classic Jamaican musical traditions with a contemporary feel.

The album also carries a powerful family connection. Its title track features Azizzi’s father, reggae legend Max Romeo, while “All I See” features his sister Xana Romeo. Across songs including “Babylon Ain’t Easy”, “The Battlefield” and “Jah Send The Rain”, the project explores social realities, spirituality and the importance of staying grounded in difficult times.

For Azizzi, Signs Of The Time is more than a debut — it’s a chance to establish his own voice while carrying forward a remarkable reggae legacy. With Guiding Star Orchestra’s live instrumentation at its heart, the album offers a thoughtful, roots-focused listening experience.
